Myopia Where the eye is too long for the focus and the image is focussed in front of the retina. By the time the light falls onto the retina it is blurred. Closer objects are more in focus and at some distance the focus is perfect. This is the far point and its distance gives the power of the distance prescription. A minus lens is used to correct myopia.
